Amanda got to London over a week ago now and it’s just been so much fun. Naturally I still have to do “real life” (which meant working until midnight most nights this week), but she gets to play while I’m away, and then in the margins we do what we do best: talk and eat and plan more travel.

So far we’ve eaten at the Breakfast Club next door…

… notched another Michelin star with dim sum at Yauatcha…

… celebrated London Pride…

… shopped at a feminist book store…

… dined on schnitzel at the Austrian shop down the street…

…and seen a period costume drama about Mary Shelley at the Barbican.
