It’s not all roses and rooftop grilling

After my post yesterday I scrolled back through the blog and realised that I might be doing that thing where people post their unrealistic best selves online and leave out all the messy details. So lest you think that my life is all roses and rooftop grilling, here’s a shot of my “home office” where I spend (nearly) every day between the hours of 8am and 10pm (or midnight or 1am).

Not that this really counts as messy detail, I guess. As far as office setups go, it’s pretty hard to complain about sitting in an Eames chair all day wearing sweatpants and wrapped in a blanket.

Plus, I do have the roses upstairs—and as of today the gardenias are opening up, too!—so sometimes I sneak mini garden breaks between calls.

At least your home office has a window, with a nice view (I mean, it could be looking out on a brick wall). And the kitchen is just, well, right there, if you were to ever actually eat anything.
Why does it seem wierd to me that your table doesn’t have a head?
