First snow!

I woke up early this morning planning to spend the day at my desk toiling at a big project for work that is making life, well less happy and balanced than I would like. But I saw something odd on my alarm (which shows the weather) — could it be?!

Yes, it was! So I pulled on my cost and boots and went out for a lovely morning walk through snowy London.

By lunchtime I was ready for a break from writing and the snow was still falling, so I went out again for a bite and a stroll.

I would have loved to have been at liberty to spend the day as I wished (in which case I would have accepted an invitation to lunch sin Oxford and hear a Christmas choral service). But since that couldn’t be, what a lovely silver lining to have a bit of snow to make it feel like Christmas despite the looming work deadlines.
