Streets of Madrid

I did a lot of wandering today. Couldn’t get enough of beautiful city.

Lime green corridor in the Alonso Martinez subway stop.

A colorful way to break the heat in the busy shopping district.

Doors! Because I know Amanda would have photographed a bunch if she had been here.

Um, since when did this tragic baroque opera become “hipster”

Randomly, Icarus falls from a roof.

Still the best vertical garden wall I’ve seen — first saw it when I was here five years ago.

This is one of the things I love most about Madrid: long leafy boulevards that are perfect for strolling, even in the heat of the day.

Late afternoon sun on City Hall

Love this frog sculpture!
