We started before dawn at the Many Lake Lodge, just in time to see the dawn light on the mountain. From there it was one long ascent past several lakes to Grinnell Glacier, where it was freezing cold and windy! In the way back the sun came out and transformed the landscape we had just seen—it was fantastic. Overall 12 miles round trip.
