I bought a house in Boise!

As of Friday, I’m the proud owner of a little 1905 house in Boise’s historic North End neighborhood.

It doesn’t look like much at the moment—in fact, having been abused by renters and neglected for years, it needs a complete gut and remodel. But it’s got incredible potential and the neighbourhood is one of the best in Boise.

Needless to say, I’ve already begun measuring and making lists and creating spreadsheets and and trying to figure out what style of windows I want to put in. I’ve downloaded the Houzz app snd created roughly 87 new Pinterest folders.

And as luck would have it, my realtor is also a contractor and happens to have an opening to take on the work as soon as November. So it’s entirely possible that we’ll be starting demolition in time for Thanksgiving. I’m so excited!
