It lived up to the astronomically high expectations, and the vibrancy of live performance made some of the melodies that I found rather boringly repetitive in the cast recording blend into the greater whole.

And I unabashedly loved seeing a story about America’s founding fathers, told in modern American rap vernacular, performed in Britain.
